an ocular of some sorts

hubby and i had a chance to hit 2 birds with one stone. work and wedding preps wise.

this afternoon, he met with the sales director of Lancaster Suites . they first talked about business.

after a few minutes, Ms. Angie Vicencio, toured us of the available rooms that we might be interested in for the hotel preps. it was a splendid hotel. not too high class, not too tourist-y type too. it was a perfect match. a middle ground for the church and venue.

anyway, we got to see a two bedroom suite which was loft type, a three bedroom suite, loft type as well. we didn't get a chance to see the presidential room, which was 3x bigger than the three bedroom suite, which means more room. (which i personally liked).

considering the amount of people who will pour in the hotel during the preps, hubby and i thought that we have to get the presidential suite. IF budget permits. price-wise, it's a steal for 6,500++ a night. not bad for a presidential room rate right? now all we need is to negotiate on some costs and hopefully get a good deal. AFTER we see the room itself.

ms, angie was really kind and gracious. today was only our first meeting but it felt like we've known her for a long time. after thanking her, she was even kind enough to even invite me over for lunch the next time i drop by the hotel. which is not far from the idea since i need to talk to her as well, this time for work! haha

it feels good that wedding preps are slowly falling into place and somehow, the funds are slowly cooperating with us.

5 months or so to go, and this is it!

time to choose: monograms

i asked the help of Aleng to create options for our monograms.

all we need to do now is to decide. which among these monograms would work well for our thank you cards, layout for the PS souvenirs, placecards/seatnumbers etc.

while choosing, please think vintage. :)

here we go!

again, a big thanks to Aleng for sharing her creativity, talent and time to her fellow w@wies. thank you for your kindness!
